| Our new Version 3 Analytical Software is now available as an upgrade to replace Version 1 or 2 software packages on V-950 Spectrometers and S-1000 Upgrade systems. The new package is a complete re-write and adds many new features along with better functionality. Your system can be upgraded during a routine maintenance visit and all of your existing calibration matrices can be easily imported. Version 3 also incorporates our on-line support system. |

Hot Metal Molds
Angstrom Hot Metal Molds are used to sample molten metal, providing a solid sample that can be analyzed using an arc-spark or x-ray spectrometer. A variety of molds are available for sampling various metal types.
The 2392 vertical pour mold is used for sampling aluminum, zinc, lead and magnesium base alloys. It is made from machined cast iron and produces a sample that is 2-1/2" in diameter and 7/32" thick. |  |
The 2393 horizontal pour mold is used for sampling aluminum, zinc, lead, and magnesium base alloys. It is made from machined cast iron and produces a sample that is 1-7/32" in diameter and 3/8" thick. |  |
The 2394 series molds are water-cooled copper molds that are used for the rapid chilling of cast iron samples, providing a white sample that is suitable for spectrometer analysis.
